Watching IOM 2SS Orders At 3000 4/20 - 5/12...

The whole updating process is pretty much a lost cause at this point......... there have been a hand full of cars delivered with status of 3400 to 3800....... I honestly believe that they are building more than they are able to update in one day!!!!...

well, at 3400 (broadcast), it's usually a week from there to get built. then a week to pass QC (hopefully) and 2 more for transit, delivery and you driving away like a madman. so that's 4 weeks from 3400............and we ain't hit 3400 yet.

so if we hit 3400 by the end of next week (holiday), that puts delivery at the last week of June.............that's about right..........

my dealer said last week he had thought they stopped the verbal updates as well as workbench updates. he said all of his orders seemed to be at the same event codes.

after all, if they don't get your hopes up, ou won't get as pissed when they let you down and tell you you're in QC hell...............maybe?

who knows, maybe we're all built and they're all in QC!

I'm beginning to think i'm headed that way....... AREA 51..., considering that there are window stickers showing on cars that are at the 10,000 vin range??? SUCKS

not to freak you or anyone else out...............but another post today from VIN 10279 (close to this) got a call from GM Customer Service. they left a message to call them back.

that can't be good..............they don't call just to say, "congrats! it turned out perfect."

pray, like you have never prayed before!

ps - that would so be my luck..........."mr 2010SSRS, the good news is, even though you think you're at 3000, you're built......congrats! now the bad, you're in a QC hold for 4 weeks"

for more details on other QC issues. I'll get more pics on there thursday. I still can't get it from the dealer. 2 days now. But they are being real good abotu things. If any of you are in QC, I would love to know if your paint on the front turns out different. And your door fits!

Was at 3000 around 4/24 or so. Got to 3800 on 5/15 and got a call from my dealer today saying it had shipped.

Hope your ground effects come in. Mine are on backorder due to a factory shipping problem. They are getting damaged due to packaging, so they are redoing and resending.

i have also noticed on another IOM that the gas cap and rear spoiler are different colors....

hey bro.........................look at post 147.

he was 3800 on the 13th, dealer says in transit now. QC is in Oshawa now, so no 2 week QC hold like you were told.

My dealer said everything shipped with it, GFX and painted engine cover. Hopefully he is right. I just hope the GFX front doesn't fall off like others have been reporting.
