His buddy has a Chevy powered 90 Fox Mustang that will edge out his turbo 4 banger. There's ALWAYS someone faster, just try to minimize the spotlight shining on you when that guy shows up. Be happy with the kick ass ride you have an don't let what anyone says to you or about you, on the internet no less, get under your skin.

We have site rules. Abide by them and no one will have to do anything....we'll gladly leave grown men alone to discuss what they enjoy (within parameters, of course).

While we can't read PM's, we do pay attention and yes, we do run the site the way we like. Notice how well the site has grown. People like to come here because there are a lot of nice people and there's tons of info. It's addictive... and with that, we try to get the members who don't care about rules to understand why we have rules...and to abide by them. We don't ask much.

Honestly, no one wants you to leave. We just want you to get along with the others as well.

I'm sure he will when he comes back.

Now...

We are tired of deleting the back and forth posts in here. We were here yesterday and unfortunately, we'll probably be back here again later or tomorrow. We'd much rather not.

I'd like to take a moment to remind everyone we have rules on this site for a reason. If you choose to abide by them, you will not be "messed with" by anyone. If you choose to roll the dice, you're going to get in trouble....plain and simple.

Please...last warning. Let this be the end of it.

FWIW, 23 deleted posts on the page I'm looking at right now....that's the kind of "fun" we get to have in cleaning up the bickering. Joy.... please. stop.

Let's get back on track. So has anybody else raced a Jeep SRT-8 and have a time slip?

I have never raced one, they're pretty rare around here. I see quite a few videos like the one posted earlier of the 9.6 run. A boosted hemi with all wheel drive is bound to be a handful though.

You know, it seems the majority of the really fast srt8 jeeps have converted to rwd over the awd setup. atleast the 9 second jeeps I've seen. I personally would rather have a awd 10-11 second jeep.

I'm a bone stock 6spd SS do I stand a chance? He's starting to trash talk now that im past the 1500 mile break-in. I'm thinking my best chance is 40-50mph freeway roll-ons.
What say you?
That srt-8 has all wheel drive so no spin off the line. It would be really close.

I'd try the rolling start. The Jeep is no shifting and AWD, just step on the peddle.
