BMW has had breakables in their 2 stage cam phasing. Are our cam phasing parts susceptible or are we ok for awhile?

Also, fuel delivery. I've seen very limited talk of using LF3 fuel pumps and such. A little talk in this thread and that thread, but no compiled break down on whats going on there. What is that all about? Why are some guys using LF3 fuel parts, how, where, and to what effect?

I can't recall ever reading of a water pump or cam phasers going bad. I wouldn't think you would need to worry about them.

At some point the stock high pressure fuel pump can't keep up with fuel demands. Only two people that I know of have had to run one, and one was because they wanted to run e85, at the power level they were making the stock pump couldn't supply enough fuel running e85, hence lf3 fuel pump upgrade.

I think if you stay under 500-550hp, you will be fine with the stock high pressure fuel pump, but may need to upgrade the intake electric fuel pump to the ZL1 fuel pump.

I am going back in after installing the B&M trans cooler to get my new spark plugs installed and then to check my afr and get re-tuned over the dyno. We believe I am running out of fuel, especially now with the dry cold air. I have been getting some misfires in cylinders 2 and 5.

In theory, the rods will be here tomorrow (if the UPS tracking can be trusted). I'm still waiting for the ARP rod bolts to show up. Once everything gets here I will divvy up the rods and bolts into individual packaging to get ready to ship to you guys.

Thus far only 2 people have paid in full for their rods. Please start thinking about paying the remainder of the balanced owed if you have not paid in full yet.

Also if you haven't seen in the custom Pistons thread, Diamond will allow me to do a group buy on Trent's Pistons that fit these rods, if we can get 5 sets sold they will let them go for $1050 a set

Copy that! Lemme know/pm if you need my address for shipping. I will also be getting in on the group buy for the pistons (thanks for setting that up) in a week or two. I just need a couple weeks to recover from... ummm... excessive holiday spending.

Apparently I misunderstood when the ARP rod bolts would show up... I thought they were supposed to show up today... The estimated ship date was today, but they actually shipped yesterday, due to arrive to me on 12/19, this means that the first sets of rods will ship on 12/20, shipping priority they SHOULD be delivered before Christmas, assuming you have paid for your rods in full before 12/20.
