Can you still use the voice command to make calls or control other options?

How we'll does the navigation work? Is there something I would need to add for that to work in my 2010, or does that work off the onstar?
Honestly I don't know because I never use it. The navigation is IGO Primo and is preinstalled on the radio, so you don't have to do anything, and is working very well.

yes that was my point.

non-perishable goods from China receive a Import VAT (Value Added Tax) of 17% on declared value over $200.

So this company shows on the invoice to customs $200 (which to a point can be considered a legit cost/value of a "car monitor") instead of the full $867 as the value.

@ $867 the buyer would have to pay an additional $147.39 in Import VAT

@ $200 the Import VAT is Zero.

the shipping doesn't cost them $200 they use that as the price point to as to avoid the buyer paying the Import VAT, so the $200 is basically worked into the cost of the unit..

make sense?

-- My former and current company deal with importing and exporting products to and from Asia and Australia all the time, there are lots of ways companies and people work around the 17% Import VAT.

Exactly. It's the companies work around for paying customs.

The larger number. The $200 invoice is what you show customs so you don't have to pay tax. But total cost is the picture I posed earlier.

This is a complete package right? Stereo unit and screen and everything? Just a complete whole plug and play package?

Plug and play or do you have to splice into wires?

Electronic1961,

Other than having to trim the hell out if things to get it to fit, it was a TRUE plug and play, everything works? If this is true, other than the fit issue, this would be a great alternative to the MyLink system. Anything else we need to know about. Thanks for your time.

Peace,

Mj

This system is plug and play. I did suggested in post #93 for Boston Acoustic system to cut off the speaker connector and attach RCA Male Plugs Solder Free, but this is totally up to you. The only down side if you don't is more distortion.
