Nice pics! They should put a TVS 2300 in it if it wants to compete with the GT500. Rumor has it when the z28 comes out Ford will put the TVS2300 standard on the GT500 which the dealer advertises for 650HP for the 2011 GT500. Chevy does have a major task at hand.... faster straight line than a GT500 and handle better than the new Boss 302, If they can beat those two in one car I think the new z/28 will be one for the history books.

The Z28 doesn't have to compete with the Boss. totally different cars geared toward different crowds.

And I do agree Ford is probably about ready to switch to the 2300. What I have heard is that they might be forced to as the production of the current blower on the GT500 might stop, forcing ford to go with the 2300 as standard equipment.

I hope and pray that the Z/28 will do MORE with LESS against the GT500. Imagine for the moment a 475hp car that out performs a what 540 hp car. That to me would be best bragging rights in the world!!!! If done right, the Z/28 should TAKE-OUT both the 302 Boss AND the GT500. Prediction: Again IF done right, The Z/28 will put an end to the Horse Power Wars and be declared the UNDISPUTED WINNER!!!

The mustang was already declared winner of the horsepower wars they didn't go bankrupt and the new is a better car than the current SS. I just feel bad for Chrysler they are really getting behind.

Ford does not have the Corvette and the GT500 is IMO 'Vette territory. On the other hand the Boss and the Z/28 are in the same league.

corvette is a sportscar, GT500 is a pony car, 4 seater vs 2 seater???
