Installed puddle lights, elite e2 catch can and an MGW shifter. The shifter was worth every minute of my time that I was cussing. If anyone is debating on doing the conversion but is on the fence about it I would say go for it. It’s like driving a completely different car.

Yeah, that looks awesome. I figured with all the wrapping you have done, it would have been a piece of cake. What issues did you run into to decide to have the pros do it? Was it the Ebay wrap that made it difficult or did you just get a premium wrap from Ebay? I have some VVivid gloss carbon fiber wrap that is a nightmare to work with. It is just so damned thick.

I wrapped my hood in 3M 1080 Satin Black. It wasn't hard, just tedious, and I had to take my time. I was afraid of ruining the wrap, but it came out great. It was a very nice wrap to work with. I have thought about doing my roof too, but I don't know how it would look with the sunroof and figure it would give me additional problems. The wrap looks great with the reverse mohawk roof though.

Thanks...I think it was the wrap I got from Ebay. It was real thick and just became a b.... to work with. Eventually I was at the point of no return..2 hours into it I gave up. Laying the stripes is a lot different than a roof. If I were to do it again it definately is a two man job and I would buy a premium wrap like 3M or similar.

What was the shifter that you replaced? And what makes this one better?

Interested in these myself.
How was Ikons quality overall?
Boxed well for shipping?
Easy to install?
Enough hardware?
I've read most of the side skirts need painted for uv protection.

I replaced the factory one with the MGW. I have had the hurst and it does not compare to this one. It replaces the complete shifter assembly.

Quality is pretty good, no complaints. Shipping was decent, in plastic and in cardboard , could have maybe used a layer of bubble wrap, install was easy (line up, used 3m VHB tape where it comes in contact with side skirts, then used some self tapping screws i had laying around, didnt like the screws provided by them), hardware was not sufficient as they sent 6-8 black screws, i didnt paint them, was going to wrap them but my roll wasnt large enough, so i got impatient and just put them on. Good enough product for me

They look awesome. If I didn't already have GFX I would have those.

There you go. Turning a negative into a positive! Just convince yourself the HUD was planned from the beginning.
