My car has very low miles, never seen the rain and stays in a air conditioned garage. I agree it's a great looking hood and maybe you will have better luck but it may be money well spent to mod the factory hood. Good luck. Can't wait to see it at the Fest!
Yes, that is always a possibility. The one lucky difference is if that occurs, back east we build things that are 100% CF, Kevlar, etc. We could make a "super hood".

PQ, if you think you might want the cam, lifters etc, to make a real muscle car... We'll a muscle car with an automatic, I could bring them to the fest...
Ha, a "real muscle car". I think there will be a whole bunch of those in AZ next week...

The holes are elongated so when there unbolted there is some adjustability with the stock units!!! But if your lowering more than an 1.5 then make sure you have much more adjustability in the aftermarket units!!!!

Maybe I'm missing something?

edit: this is what I'm talking about:

Speedster, you have to let everyone get a chance to go down the track at least once before you go and tear up all the asphalt from the track.

We are ALL going to have a blast at C5FII !!

Hey - I only have one set of street tires to go from LA to C5FII, run on both the road course and the strip and have enough
tread to get the SST back to LA.

...unlike Kelly who smoked 'em halfway down the track in his cool video.

I personally am looking forward to watching the big teams run. I bet there will be some super fast times with all of the fine tuning they have been doing. Will be a good time for all.

Now you are going to stir the pot and get me in all kinds of trouble. I'm just gonna slink away and hide in the corner or make a speed run out in the desert.
