Thanks for your service. I'd come do it if I wasn't so far away. I'm sure some local guys will come and gladly do it for you

I don't see where mentioning the shop name would be bad mouthing anyone. They're the ones that quoted the hourly rates. Is that not public information or do their rates fluctuate depending on who calls?

Otherwise I'd like to begin a shout out to all members in the Austin area to lend a hand to a fellow Camaro5 member and disabled vet that could use a hand up. Hat's off to you and your service to our country Towlie. If I owned a shop I'd install them at no charge.

Would it be possible to install headers and HF Cats on Rhino Ramps or would that not be high enough?

I got my LTs installed about 2 weeks ago, it was only $260 bucks.. other places quoted between 350-400..

Just keep shopping around, no point in bad mouthing the shop.. their loss of business from you right?

You guys here are F$&@$ng awesome! And your welcome, there are so many that never get a thank you and it is appreciated to the fullest.

Regarding if their prices fluctuated per called, I would be rips!@t if that was happening. It's not a one-off mod or anything. I've been though that with a previous build, so know a bit about how fabricating cost can vary with platform and complexity.

I charge $240 for header install and thats using jackstands!!! Some of these shops charge way way too much. Not the customers problem you have way too much overhead.

On a lighter note, my headers and high flow cats got ordered today with the 1700degree matte black ceramic coating, so I'm pretty pumped to get her dyno/street tuned and have a little fun at the test-n-tune nights.
