Not as bad as some I've read costing thousands. Waiting to hear back from dealer.

If you think about it, this could have been a lot worst. You could have slid into another car, another person, a tree, etc. Be glad it was a curb and you weren't hurt.

Yesser that is I. Although I didn't pay he did. Anyone wanna borrow my car? Btw he broke a toe link and the shop sucked at alignment. So I had to redo it again. To which he still paid for.

edit: some guy in a thread a few weeks ago hit a curb and had thousands in damages from just the wheel.

Where did you see anything? There was no pics posted that I saw.

So just the toe link was damaged? Did they offer any rim repair with the repair? The rim is scuffed pretty bad.

They will most likely just get a refinished wheel. Dealerships and body shops genearlly don't repair wheels.

Probably be a bent tie rod, refinished wheel, maybe new tire. Just claim on your insurance and pay the deductible... that's why you have it.

Surprisingly no. And to be frank, and there's only one guy that I trust my rims to get repaired. I'm gonna do a plug here, Jeff's tire and rim shop in myrtle beach that man is amazing. My buddy is giving me the cash plus gas money to fix. It's about a 3.5 hour drive from where I'm at now.
