You must've requested that the nannies not be tuned out. My tune from Steve - both the aggressive and "light" versions, negate the need to use the buttons. It's ALWAYS off! Might check with him.
And I'd have to agree that tires are the difference in barking 'em in 2nd-3rd. My older Pirelli's don't hookup very well now in 1-2 after the tune.

Button twice is track mode, button down for 7 seconds is nannies off i believe
