I have seen those flaps they only go for like 59 bucks but everyone seems to love them and say they work well. That could be a good way to go too.

I ordered mine from gmpartsdirect on the 15th. I am still waiting and have not got any kind of update. It is about 50 bucks cheaper but the customer service and delivery time is terrible. I wouldnt suggest ordering from them if you want your splash guards in the next month

How hard would it be to match the white paint if I just painted them myself? Would it look really off?

Congratulations on your new Summit White. It's unfathomable that Chevy doesn't have splash guards for the SW, SG, and maybe one or two other colors.

What you're currently seeing is most likely brake dust and rubber flaking(?) from the new tires. After 2 weeks, I didn't have any dark, dusty residue on my rear fender corners or where the "gills" are.

There is a (future) part # for Summit White Camaro splash guards but they're not available yet. The part # is 22809726. I got the # from one of my local dealers and also placed an inquiry with MaureenM@RodgersChevrolet who's a member here and the parts manager at the same dealership as Becky (who appears to have a stellar reputation among members on this forum whom she has assisted). She hasn't gotten back to me yet but it should hopefully be coming out within the next few months - I hope, as the '12's are hitting the lots.

There is a site sponsor (RPI Designs) and they offer OEM Camaro splash guards and paint them to the desired color.

At the moment, OEMs are not available through the GM Accessories Zone, GMPartsWarehouse, GMPartshouse or any of the other sources I'm aware of. If Chevy doesn't come out with these soon, I'm going to opt for them because the damage the fenders sustain isn't worth "chincing" on the price.

The other option is perhaps vinyl paint protection film to protect from at least the rock chips. Downside to this is that you can really see the dirt discoloration at the edge of the film where it meets with the affected body panel.

I have them and I love them. They work well and I think they look good. Just make sure you clean the area really good before putting them on. I know sounds stupid but my buddy didn't and now they are starting to come off. He went through a couple of car washes and that might be why they are coming off also. I love mine and they look great. Go for it.

Me too. I just wish there was room for chrome reclining nude woman emblems on them.

Go to your local vinyl sign shop they can wrap them in a gloss white, or just buy some off them, they will stretch enough with hair dryer so you dont get wrinkles and form around corners.

Here is the link for the simple mud flaps. The company will custom paint them to match your car's color to help them blend right in. They are much cheaper than the splash guards.

How hard do you think it is to modify the factory splash guards to fit a GFX car?

I ordered my splash guards from GMpartsdirect also. They sent the wrong color and they only sent 2 out 4 splash guards, so I had to return them this week. But, luckily, they sent the write ones pretty quick and I got them in yesterday. Now, I need to install those bad boys!!
