Um, he's trying to sucker you. Trade an SS/RS for an SS/RS? Please.

Wouldn't you have to pay sales tax again? He'll put you in a 2012 and the payment will be the same, but you'll have lots more of them. Unless you are somehow unhappy with your current car, I'd say keep it.

There is no way you get the better end of the deal with this. Sorry for being a skeptic. Hope I'm wrong.

Sounds like the bait. Time to see the switch. I do hope he comes with something good. Maybe they are hurting on new sales numbers. Keep us posted.

I actually did the same thing. Traded my 2010 1ss for a 2011 2ssrs for the same payment. They had some rebates out when I did it too

So you'll trade your car that you already put money and work into for a stock one just because its 2 years newer?

If it was a generation of the vehicle I could understand but this just sounds like he's trying to make a sucker out of you.

What do you guys think??

Do it.

It may cost you sales tax, but you're getting the benefit of a newer car and a better resale or trade in value at some point in time. Plus, there's nothing in the world like driving out with a new car even if it's pretty much what you traded in. Good luck, though, on your decision.
