Both mine & hubby's a/c fan are making this squeaking noise. I plan to go to the dealer this week to get mine looked at.

Mine has also been doing this... how much is this costing people from the dealer?

Replaced blower motor under warranty.

Someone has a DIY on here, and it looks easy to do, for anyone not under warranty.

blower motor.

To clarify things, its not a passenger side blower motor, but the blower motor is located on the passenger side, its a common issue and a pain in the ass to change.

I have changed a few, nothing good to say about how fun it is.

Well, add me to the list of the squeaky A/C blower. Anything below setting 7 and I can hear it, man is it annoying.

Yup ive had the issue since day one. Been to the dealership a few times about it and they wont do anything about it. Extremely annoying, time to take it to another dealer.

I got this issue. about a month after my warranty expired I heard it on my way home. Anyone found if there are any TSBs that will fix this, or where is the DIY?

mine ticks/squeaks at the spead of the fan about about 30%speed or less.

Experiencing the same issue on my 2015. Sounds like a nest of baby birds squeaking under the dash when I have the fan speed set on low.

Took my car in to the dealer for my first oil change at 5k last week and had my service writer have a listen. Didn't take him long before he said he would order me a new blower motor and call me when its in. Hoping to hear back from him this week to schedule the repair.

Best I can tell there has been a part number change on the blower. So heads up to everyone who is doing this repair on their own (unsure how you can verify dealer used latest part in a repair, rather than one they had in stock and didn't send back). Hard to tell if it's actually a different part/vendor or just a part number change.

Looks like it went from: 22762719 to 23438987 - would be great to learn when this happened and/or if it's actually a different vendor. Anyone who has pulled their fan, do you see vendor markings at all other than GM?

Anyone try one of these?

VDO (generally well respected vendor of gauges I've used in the past)
