Either way, I'm jelly of the SL65. It's one of my favorite cars. Exotic car performance (and price lol) without all the goofy wings and body kits. A friend of mine had one, and he used it as a DD, that's how incredibly well engineered that car is.

Found this looking at the specs:

AMG Performance Package added 80 RWHP & 73 lb-ft TQ
AMG Twin-Turbo Intercooled V-12 Engine Performance Package 685 RWHP / 811 lb-ft Torque

I don't know where you found that, but even the 2013 SL65 AMG doesn't offer an engine performance upgrade package. They come with 621hp and 738tq stock. The torque is unchanged since that's the safety limitation of the 5 speed they use in all the V12 twin turbo cars.

A lightly modded SS will completely destroy an sl65 amg. I'm guessing by at least 5 car lengths. In a drag race it wouldn't even be close. the amg's are very weak cars in comparison to an SS. An SS with a supercharger will run in the low 10's or high 9's.

Ummm what!? I can't tell if your being sarcastic or not, but the SS would not win a drag race and is not low 10s high 9s with just a supercharger

I agree. Also, a bolt on Mustang would also destroy an SL65 AMG. With bolt ons and a tune, the GT runs low 10s high 9s....

Pffff...you don't know what you're talking about. Supercharged Camaros obviously run 9s.
