You may have a different opinion if you just bought a CTSV and had a reputable tuner/installer blow up your motor for you and then claim you must have got some bad gas. A $4k lesson a very close friend of mine just learned.

So, here's the question-poll. How many peeps plan on modifying their ZL1 cars vs how many peeps wanna keep their cars stock for warranty reasons?
hello ozzy. bumblebee still up at david maus? was thinking of going up there for a test drive just for haha's. that was one of the badder SS's at cf1. ive voted stock but not completely as i have a superchiller, drag radials and may do a rotofab but no tune. my reason for keeping motor stock is due to warranty for sure. my 12 ZL-1 already needed a supercharger replacement at 15k mile due to noise from the snout and the new one is starting to show symptoms of the same issue out 22k.

No, my Bee was sold pretty quickly after I traded him in. Some guy that's pretty well off snagged him up to add to his awesome car collection. It's kind of a shame because he already told me the car was bought to "sit" in his yellow car collection. This makes me sad because it sounds like the car won't see the likes of daylight too much.

Here's a pic he sent me. My Bee's new home.

That's why I sold the wheels in the first place. He said he was okay with it.

I purchased a 2012 and added the 7 year 70000 mile warranty knowing that I'll never hit 70000 in 7 years So the car is pretty much under warranty for the entire seven years. So my hands are kind of tied. However, I've installed the roto fab CAI, the Bib Gulp and the WW relocation kit. Will keep all the original in case I want to restore. If I can hold out for seven years without getting headers, cam, ported snout, port and polished heads etc...It will be difficult. I took a bigger loss when I sold my 427 67 vette coupe because I didn't have original rally wheels, steering wheel, intake and exhaust. And the interior was button and tuck. But I'm keeping this as a collectable muscle car and its a lot faster than my vette ever was. Still wish I kept my vette though.
