If you run with the pans on most of the time like I do you just drill a small(1/8" or so) hole in each front outside corner of them and any excess water drains off to those sides of the engine but doesn't get on anything important (belts or anything). People just thinking about buying the hex vents tend to worry that in the rain there will be too much water collected or whatever. I've had them for over a year and we get our share of downpours in Northern Kentucky/Southwest Ohio and I've never had a problem at all.

yeah, don't think it would go with SGM.
