As evryone says; patch it if its not on the sidewall. Same happened to me and the car is 100% fine speeding and sliding on the termac Just dont track the car like a mofo. Anyone ditching a 300$ tire because of a nail in it has too much money burning in their pockets. Dont listen to plp who wanna steal money from you, like your dealer.

They want $305 for the tire.

Got a screw in mine. Dealer declined repair for new as did local Discount Tire and Belle Tire. Discount and Belle looked up the tire and immediately said no way. Dealer replaced it at cost. $307 including tax.

Look for a used tire on Ebay. You could replace the rears with 305 35 20's like the ZL1. Im getting ready to replace all 4 of mine with Nitto NT05's.

You should have it patched not plugged and remember you will have no speed rating anymore. Don't take it above 85mph for any extended amount of time.

I'd buy a new tire with hazard warranty and patch the old one - it'll make a great spare if the sidewall is not damaged.

If its in the sidewall you have no choice.
If its not i patch it and call it good. I have never had problems with a patched tire at speed.
That includes drag radials and normal tires.

Repair is an option, but I'd replace it. You probably got a third of the life out of it.

$305 is a good price.

This isn't camaro or 1le specific. You loose the rating of any tire once repaired. Dealer doesn't want to repair and then put a non rated tire on a track car.
