My V6 M6 in heavy traffic gets around 17 MPG. But that is about as bad as it gets. Driving around in the mountains yesterday and averaged about 25 MPG. Also I find that the computed MPG on the car is a tad low. Almost 2 MPG low. When I divide the miles by gallons used it is alway higher. Have yet to take a long hiway cruise. Seems like I will get the 29 MPG as advertised.

Just got that crapy 87 octane out of my SS from the dealer. But I got 20.69 mpg's which isn't bad after considering I have been showing the car to people and they just want to hear it run...

400 miles as of today. The DIC says 19.7 mpg. Not so bad I guess. I have not really exceeded 4000 rpm yet. We will see when I start letting it rip. My old LS2 Corvette was good for 25-30 on a trip but only about 20 around town with my type of driving. I do not granny it but it is a mix of cruising and some spirited driving!

DIC says 19.5 on the A6 SS with a mixture of driving on it with 600 miles on the odometer.

I'm at 2300 miles, SS manual

After about 1500 I reset my MPG gauge, to see what its like after break in...and its much better.

During break-in I was at about 16 mpg. But now I'm getting about 17 city and up to 22 highway...for an average of about 19 MPG. Not bad, considering I drive pretty spiritedly. A very modest driver could easily be hitting 20-21 regularly..

Went up to Gettysburg yesterday; 495 to 270 to 15. Actually hit 26.6 MPG at avg speed of 62 mph. SS A6. Not too shabby.

L99 around town gets between 15 and 17 depending on my foot. The only time I had any amount of freeway I got in the mid 20's when taking it easy. My problem in town, is taking it easy. It only takes a few runs to kill your mileage. She can sip like a lady or guzzle like a bar queen.

2200 miles on my SS L99. The most MPG I've seen so far is 24.6 average on a 350 mile trip. The least I've gotten is 19.2 driving back and forth to work for a week (mix of county 55 mph roads and city streets). I'll probably get better when I break my addiction to romping on the gas now and then.

LOL I filled up today and reset everything. I was only going about two miles and the first mile was down hill. DIC showed 88MPG. If only I could go down hill everywhere.

2450 miles on my 2LT RS - averaging 22.5 mpg, 25% highway / 75% secondary roads. I have gone 407 miles on 18.150 gallons as the deepest I've gone into a tank -- considering it holds 18.8 gallons I was cutting it close (yes I know don't run out etc., etc.,)

I have found the Low Fuel Range pretty accurate indicating a little over 2 gallons left when the indicator comes on in the DIC, usually with about 44 miles as the reading before changing over to "Low Fuel Range".

I have just under 1K miles on mine, and I am at 26.3 mpg. That is 90% highway and 10% around town. When I filled up last time, I was just off of the highway, so I reset the DIC just to see what my mpg looked like with straight highway time. With a warm engine and averaging about 65 mph, the display showed 33 mpg. That quickly trailed off when I exited the highway and made my way through downtown to my office. I am pleasantly surprised, and after I change my oil this weekend, I will be interested to see what it looks like.

Got 1700 miles on it now (LS3 M6 2SS), DIC reports 17.9 in the city! Best was last tank before break in was done at 18.2 city.
