If you're asking if fixing it yourself will show up on the Carfax, I'd say you're probably better off taking it in to a professional to have the work done. Get an estimate or two. Once you have those real numbers, then you can decide if it's worth going through insurance.

It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?
