I'm pretty sure that the whole reason behind no lift shifting is to keep the supercharged spinning while also keeping boost pressure up. So i don't see why they would put this feature on a 1le. And just because you don't have it doesn't mean you still can't no lift shift.

Guys, guys... We are talking about the NLS feature, totally different from power shifting.

Power shifting is rough on the drivetrain. I am not big on power shifting, I rather speed shift.

And naturally aspirated cars have no need for it because the whole point of it is to keep the engine under boost between gears. Thread over.

Next up: "I hear a blowoff valve is a good thing to have, how can I install one on my 1LE"

It was obvious. But the fact that you have no clue what you're talking about is even more obvious.

Using hp tuners I was able to setup something similar to no lift shift. It works great. There's posts about it in the tuning section.

So the discussion includes NLS, Power Shifting, and Launch Control. Have we answered the question of whether the 1LE has NLS? Does anyone have the knowledge to explain all three?
