Wireless chargers are a pain...the one in the Camaro is better than most, try rotating the phone 180 degrees and look for the lighting bolt next to the phone icon on the My Link screen.

Thanks for posting this. I have an Iphone 6s and was wondering why the damn thing didn't charge. Any idea on when it is supposed to work?

Apple does not offer built in wireless charging, and has not announced anything yet on future models. It is a hardware thing, so your current device will never be able to unless you buy some sort of case that works for wireless charging. Only some Android phones have built in wireless charging, like a bunch of Samsung models, LG I believe has some as well as Nexus devices.

I'm getting the new galaxy s7 which is an upgrade from my current s4. I hope it will fit in the charging deck. I also, got an email that I can take my car into the dealer to get Android Auto installed on myLink.

It's been said somewhere on the forums here that the Galaxy S7 fits fine, and that the S7 Edge fits sort of at an angle (one end in the dock, the other end resting on outer lip of the dock) but still charges fine.

That wireless charger is a waste of space. Remove it (or at least put it somewhere you can see the phone) and add more storage room in the console. JMHO

I like it...do wish it was in a better area though, but it is fine once you put it on the pad, left alone for me until I get out of the car.

My Cadillac SRX had it in a hidden compartment behind the CUE radio faceplate. Brilliant. Don't know why Chevy didn't do it with MyLink.

I had to take the Otterbox off the S6 but it fits and charges just fine. I need to check up on getting the Android Play installed in My Link.

I think I have to do the same. It's not charging with my Otterbox.
