And yea, LED Halos are way way brighter then the BMW ones (providing you use enough). I did a CCFL (cold cathode fluorescent light) conversion on my old cobalt. I think i have pics of the difference if you want.

sure I'd like to check 'em out. These halos are just 4 small bulbs placed around the projector with a plastic diffuser ring over top of them to spread the light out. I'll definitely have to change them eventually, it's just a matter of what to...

I'll bet AAC has some halo rings that'll fit those particular headlight housings. It's worth a shot.

I'll have to check out your photos when I get home. Everything is red X's for me here at work...

Doesn't look as mean now. Maybe because the lights are so far forward or the smaller diameter.

Looks like you did a nice install though.

I think it's the smaller diameter. The bumper doesn't cut off as much of the lense so it doesn't look like it's squinting at you haha. I see what you mean though. I think it looks more pointy and dangerous with the grill set back.

I believe they do have some CCFL ones. there are some other companies that make LED ones though. But I don't have the coin to drop on them just yet.

I love what you're going for, I really do, but it looks unfinished to me. Especially in this pic:

The right edge of the grill right next to the SS is at a different angle than the edge of the headlight, and the bottom edge of the headlight doesn't look flush with the bottom pf your grill opening. Does that make sense?

Looks fantastic at night, but a little haphazardly thrown together during the day. Kudos for being different, just needs a little polish now. My $0.02.

I did not notice that as much earlier when I looked at it. Did not look long enough I guess. I do see what your refering to.

while im not a big halo fan to begin with, i think you did a good job... just finish off what people posted above. maybe with a heritage grill that sits flush with the headlights..

Im not knocking what you're doing but to me that looks terrible. I understand the whole custom thing but it needs to be executed a little better. Sorry but I'm just speaking from years of customizing and doing car shows.
