I had my removed for replacement ... when i put it back just snugly fit one bolt, lightly held the bypass closed and moved the assymbly until there as barely any daylight between the bracket and the set screw, then tightened the two bolts, verified the gap was still there

https://youtu.be/hYQ1jZ1l1tU

That video is how I did mine

That is the video I watched. With the first bracket out of the way, I can't see the gap of the set screw they are talking about. There is a engine wire harness clipped to it in two places. I unclipped the harness and pulled it forward slightly toward the radiator and I still can't see the stop gap.

Someone help you... you hold the bracket/bypass and the butterfly closed, they tighten the bolt down

What happens when you add a 5% overdrive crank pulley after the adjustment is done, extra boost will it need a tune or will it run lean.

Question

Why I'm not able to find any full video of doing this adjustment on the engine of a ZL1, that show us steep by steep? If you have one please share.

The only video that I saw was from a CTS-V, working with the part on a table instead of directly on a ZL1 engine mounted on the car, it would really help not mechanical inclined persons to have a video like that, without having to worry about messing up something.

Steep?

The CTS-V is the same super charger... It's actually easier to see what needs to be done with the super charger OFF of the car. The video you found shows more than enough to get this done.

Installed an Elite catch can last night and made this adjustment while I was in there. Dropped one of the screws for the bracket twice. The paneling on the bottom of the car made it a real joy to find the screw. Had to use an "echo-location" technique.

Anyways, my seat-dyno confirms there is a noticeable increase in boost, and it is most noticeable above 3k RPMs. I probably picked up 1-1.5# from where it was.

Before the mod I was making 13.5lbs. After the mod I'm making 16.5 on my aero force gauge. More boost should produce more power. Just sayin. After next Dyno run I will post results
