Well I'll eat some words and let y'all eat some too.

FIRST - "oh no, they'll never use the LS7 in a Camaro." to you people I say suck on eggs!

2nd - hoods looks cheap. Tails look even cheaper. TransAM conversion pieces of crap. Sorry, but thats just me.

3rd - I love it on the whole! Z/28 totally looks hotter than I could have imagined having seen the SS debut surprise yesterday. Front end is pretty good! Still don't like it as much as our version, but I'm sure it'll grow on me. Wheels/Brakes are baller, and I instantly hated my seats when I saw those Recaros in the Z/28!

Guess I'll have to save up, be responsible, and get one of these bad ass rides. Then figure out how to retro-fit a 2012 rear end to these...

GM, you surprised us again! Thank you

I reserved comment from yesterday to get a real look at that new rear end because I was sure it would look better with real pics and in a different color... and IMO I was dead right. Much better! (I did vote "like" yesterday anyway).

I REALLY love the new front end and now I like the rear end too. It'll grow on me even more I'm sure. The hood, however, that's just tacky IMO. Still, doesn't take much away from such an awesome car!

I feel like the "leaked" SS yesterday was just to distract from the real news!
I love the new Z/28! Frankly, I'm REALLY surprised they pulled off keeping it so tight-lipped (aside from the VIN card slip-up).

I still LOVE my 2012 SS and wouldn't be able to afford a Z/28, but I'm super happy for those of you that'll be getting one!

Great job GM, and thanks a whole lot!

I'd say with no AC, $45, with 48k. I'm not fond of the hood vent, wish they went with a ZL-1 hood. The rear lights are retro 60s. Looks a little odd, but that car is the ultimate track beast regardless of ZL-1 HP. Too bad I have other priorities in life otherwise I'd be selling my car for this. AC? Pfffftttt no my link? Pfffftttt who needs amenities when you have performance? Of course the LS7 will be detuned so as not to compete with the ZL-1, but a cpl mods and this will make a ZL-1 falter at the track compared to this car. I love it!

price will be the most important part of this for me. I will get one if it is less than the ZL1. and by less I mean under 45k.

After seeing this refresh in more photos, I really like it! Glad the Z/28 is coming back as well! Looks like a mean machine for sure! As with ALLTRBO I was unsure of the rear end from the photos yesterday...but seeing these makes up for that, and makes me like it a whole lot more!

The car in the photos on page one show black roof molding's and sharkfin. The one shown at today's release event are body colored. I guess there might be optional appearance package's available?? (That don't add significant weight)

Great job GM team!!!

BAM

Give the diehards what they wanted, the Z28

I guessing $49500-$55K

So glad they just din't jam a ls7 in there and call it a day... all the styling cues which are functional work on THAT version.

Will not happen. Even if it starts there expect to pay big ADM. The line is forming already.

Good point! Nice to see a Z/28 that really adheres to the original formula. Still don't care for the rear treatment though.
