I have a 2012 2SS/RS with a Magnusson Supercharger. Currently I have the Ingen CAI; which was on the car before adding the super charger. I looked through the 12 pages of this post & did not notice any questions pertaining to super charged engines. An email reply from Magnusson said the Ingen CAI would probably be adequate. I don't want adequate, I want all out performance. I will be checking my MAF sometime tomorrow. In the meantime, what is your suggestion? I read the Jannety reports when they were released; they are dated info now. It appears to me as if I may need a CAI, Inc system from APEX (CAI, Strong MAF sensor, APEX Air Scoop, and a washer bottle relocate kit). Feel frre to PM me a price list!

From my experience I would say remove the Injen and go to the CAI Inc system. A local customer was running that same set up and when he made that same swap he gained 27 rwhp without touching the tune or anything else. We were pretty surprised but for supercharged applications the Injen is clearly too restrictive. The set up you mentioned will provide maximum air flow with minimal restriction.

Do you mean on just an intake? We have some good specials on the induction packages year round.

I was talking about a CAI, Inc system from APEX (CAI, Strong MAF sensor, APEX Air Scoop, and a washer bottle relocate kit). If that is an induction package, then yes. If not, what do you consider an induction package? PM me a price list.

Yes, all you have to do is add those items to your shopping cart on our website and the package discounts are automatically applied.

Ordered all 4 items in the induction package on Fri 5/22 at 11:30am EDST; status has been Processed since then. Surely it will be shipped Monday? Would have been nice if it had shipped Fri or Sat. I am hoping to have it installed for the WannaGoFast event on Sat 5/29 & Sun 5/30. Thanks for your opinion & help...

Yes, most all of this is relevant to both V6 and V8 cars. If you have specific questions let me know.

Just installed CAI air intake

UPS just dropped off my CAI air intake and I promptly installed same. Install was easy. Almost threw a wrench in the works when it was learned that a heat gun was required for shrink wrap, but the wife is a crafter so I borrowed hers. Took it out on the highway and felt a definite difference in acceleration. Sound was throatier only when on the gas. Just what I wanted. I didn't want to add a lot of constant noise to the top down, stereo up. Thanks Apex.
