Got pictures of the on the car?

Can you snap your axel if you get 315 tires on the rear with z28 wheels on a 2012 v6 camaro? I have full boltons and i got new wheels and tires but dont wanna floor it from 0 because dont wanna snap the axel. Is that rare?

Well the term 'Full Boltons" does not really tell us what kind of HP and more importantly, what kind of torque are you putting down. I doubt very seriously that you have anything to worry about with axles snapping on a V6 with 315s. Additionally and just FYI, unless you have changed out the differential, I am pretty sure you do not have a limited slip differential either. (One of the main reasons I have not pulled the plug on the SC.)

The picture in the post above in my V6 with 315s and although I am only running 304HP and 266 ft-lbs torque on the ground, I have not had any issues. These are on steel 20X10 Foose rims.

Hope that helps give you peace of mind.

Looking at downsizing to 19's and I was curious if there is anything wrong with running a 19x8.5 front and a 19x9.5 rear on a SS w/ 245/45/19 front and 275/40/19 rear tires? Mostly aggressive street driving (spirited driving you could say) with some drag racing thrown in. Maybe run an auto-x or two to see if I like it.

Currently running square 20x9's w/ 275/40/20 tires. Want to cut some weight.

Hi Tony, Will factory ZL1 wheels/tire size work on a 2013 SS
Front 285/35-20 = 27.9" tall, 10.0 wheel
Rear 305/35-20 = 28.4” tall, 11.0 wheel
It’s within .5 diameter
or would 275/40/20 315/35/20 be a better choice?

I put 245 40r20s on my ss

All the way around I put 245 40 20 on my SS so I can drive daily and get them rotated. I had to get 8.5 inch rims all around but it looks and rides great now
