From my understanding you do not have to remove it.

Just ordered a revshift insert today. I'll be able to speak on the driveline vibration as i have a 1 pc DSS aluminum shaft. Although I don't have alot of vibration with mine and i have poly diff and cradle mounts. All the old forums said the NVH would be bad, but I hardly noticed it. My tuner said that around 150mph, he did feel a vibration on the dyno.

My old mount has definitely seen better days and was definitely starting to sag.

Wonder if that's enough to cause a change in angle for vibration purposes.

Possibility. Either way it’s getting the insert at the same time. Not to worried about nvh. I have bmr engine mounts and pretty much everything and anything else that was rubber is now bmr also, except the cradle bushings I just did inserts.

I have this DS as well, with the solid cradle mounts. After we installed it I had very little vibration at all. My stocker vibrated more. When we had it on the dyno tuning it we ran the engine up to 7500 in 4th gear for the final pull and he didn't say anything about any vibrations. I may have got a good one, so far.

I installed the insert in the mount and I don’t think you could just push it in there maybe if you could get a c clamp in there to squeeze it in but honestly like I said earlier as quick as it was getting the mount out of the car I think it would take you twice as long trying to get it installed in the car.

Were you able to press it in by hand or are pliers/hammer needed?

It comes with some grease you rub all over it then a Rubber mallet and a couple good whacks and it slid in most of the way. Used a 1/2 extension and a hammer to get it fully seated the last 1/8 of a inch. If someone really didn’t want to take it out of the car you would definitely need to jack the transmission up if your mount was sagging as bad as mine was.

Have you drove it yet to find out if it fixed your vibration issue ?

Went ahead and bought me one just in case . I’ve got my cf gc drive shaft here waiting to be installed when I get the motivation to do it

Just got back. It’s better but still there I was starting to feel some vibration around 75 and now it’s up to about 85 and before I didn’t feel like I ever wanted to hit over 110 and I went quite a bit faster than that today. It’s definitely still there but not the way it was before.

Can you live with it or are you going to send it back to GC to have it rebalanced ?

My review on the Revahift poly insert. I consider my car highly modified at this point. Compared to the poly diff bushings, cradle bushings, one piece driveshaft... the revshift poly insert by far has produced the most notable nvh of any of the mods. BUT the shifts feel more connected and stronger. I think it's a huge difference in a positive way. Those who want a butter smooth ride. Don't do it. I did have someone comment on my Instagram that in combination with BMR poly motor mounts, they couldn't get there car to shift into second with the insert installed.

Sending it back. It went out today. Super nice people down there at gulf coast. Shane said he has done some testing between his old and new balancer and a shaft has balanced perfect on his old one and once it hits top rpm on his new one there will be a vibration.
