The left side roof vent was made functional...the right side remained a "styling touch", only.

What was the single greatest contributing factor to Corvette's sales "decline" in MY 1970, besides an economic downturn?

Hint: the same applied to Camaro...

Maybe your thinking of a union strike. I remember many.
In '64 The dealer I worked for on L.I. couldn't get cars delivered due to a strike. We made many trips to Terrytown N.Y. to pick up new cars- 5 or 6 of us going, and each one driving a new Chevy back.
That one must have been the car-carriers, but don't remember for sure.

44.

I know there is a white one at the Corvette museum. The rest were smushed, so not sure what color they were.

The '69 strike led to an extended '69 Model Year for Vette and Camaro...as witnessed by the "69.5" Camaros some think are extra valuable. the '70 versions of both cars didn't appear till about New Years...about 4 months (1/3 MY) "behind schedule"...

Officially there is no such thing as an '83 Corvette.

Glass came a long ways during this time period. There was still 2 piece windshields in the early 50's.
I asked for the nickname given to the style of windshield used in the '59 Chevy. Other years and makes used this design too. The correct answer is
"knee-knocker".

Sure there was, 44 of them. Just never sold to the public. I've stood next to the white one, so I know it exists... in Bowling Green KY

That same nicknames were applied to the steering column-mounted tach on early '60s Chebbies...and "old schoolers" apply it to bench seat - 4spd manual combos...

It's an "answer" that will either win you a trivia contest...or get you into one hell of a fist fight...
