Well, i stayed up until 3am hoping the status woukd updat after midnight and noooo luck :'( .....so i was like screw this....im going to sleep.. woke up this morning around 9 and stumbled upon thisss......

03/15/2012 (1100) Order placed at dealership. Order passed GM edit tables but dealer has not received allocation to place order.

03/15/2012 (1102) Order entered via web.

03/19/2012 (2000) Order accepted by GM. Dealer used allocation to place order into production.

03/20/2012 (2500) Order preferenced. Order pulled to the production system.

03/20/2012 (3000) Order accepted by production control. Parts being ordered and production process is underway.

04/02/2012 (3100) Order available to sequence.

04/02/2012 (3300) Order scheduled for production. Order is scheduled into the plant build cycle.

04/10/2012 (3400) Order Broadcast (internal plant paperwork order produced). Order is sent to various build & supplier areas to bring order together.

04/12/2012 (3100) Order available to sequence.

04/12/2012 (3300) Order scheduled for production. Order is scheduled into the plant build cycle.

04/20/2012 (3400) Order Broadcast (internal plant paperwork order produced). Order is sent to various build & supplier areas to bring order together.

1100 Status as of 3/29
means the order has not been placed...
and the order was input after the cut-off date,
which put it into.. if.. "available allocation"....

The last day to order a "sold order" Camaro was 3/27.
After that it depends on "available allocation" to the dealer.
The last cycle of available allocation to place starts tomorrow,
but your dealer would know today, ...if they have availabilty.

If they do not have available allocation to place the 2012
order, you would then have the choice
to roll the order into the 2013 model year.




I would suggest having a talk with your dealer...

Thanks for the advice. I went to the dealership yesterday. For some reason, they are hopeful that my order will be picked up in the next week or two and built. They also went ahead and put an order for me for a 2013 model. If my 2012 doesn't bet built my 2013 order is already in. If my 2012 does get built then they'll either cancel my 2013 order or keep is as part of their allocation.

Thanks for all your help so far....it has been very valuable to me. Your reward is I will keep pestering you as early as next week for my 2012 or else in June for my 2013.
