The Z28, still toting the big V8, carries MSRP figures of $25,875 for the hardtop coupe and $29,300 for a convertible version.

Add the SS performance gear for $3,325
$29,200 for the base HARDTOP SS. With TTops (which almost 92% of SS's came with) you get to add in the $700 (I think they were that but cant find a options pricing breakdown) to come to $29,900 and the standard delivery fee of $525 back then and you get $29,725.

So in reality with the $750 delivery charge IN the MSRP now the SS is $30245 for the base SS.

Difference of $520 freaking dollars!!!!!

Well, if that's the case, then that's friggin amazing!! And that's MSRP... I'm hoping with the discount my dealer has said he can give for being law enforcement, I'll save a good chunk more!! I can just taste this car already... Now about that Imperial Blue Metallic on the SS...

Now let's all watch 'Transformers,' the 27th minute of the 1st episode of 'My Own Worst Enemy,' crack open a beer and see what happens on this glorious Monday.

Of course, it's 12:18AM where I am, so I'll prolly be alone....with Megan Fox.

Is $31,000 the base price for both the auto and manual?

Isn't the auto normally more because of a special tax that is thrown on for fuel consumption?

I would think 40 or just under for a nicely loaded 2SS sounds about right..
