I never told you guys but I rented one in Chicago on my last business trip after ordering the 1LE. Somehow I convinced Hertz to give me the $50 rate vs. what they were asking ($75). I kept driving it around at night trying to get a feel for the car. I know the 1LE will be different. And yes, at that moment, the sickness began ....

they were only asking $75?!?! i thought about doing that after i ordered, but rates out here are twice that on a weekday, over 3x for a weekend day!

and idk about the sickness part, i just have a vision of how i want the car. once i get it there, i'll stop. did the same thing with my computer build right now i'm negotiating with TRS about what wiring harness i need for the retrofit lights, and whether i can still get their cyber monday discount:emoticon7: they cutoff the sale at 6pm EASTERN! that's not fair!

LMFAO (for real. I'm in a hotel room laughing aloud). Dude, I did the SAME thing in Tahoe over TDay. I was reading all about Turbos. Love them. Have a twin turbo in my S4 (which I upgraded to K05/RS4 turbos with 22.6 pounds of boost) and that light little compact is a rocket. I know most Camaro owners go supercharger but have a new found (2001+) affinity for turbos.

yeah, i've purposely not done a lot of turbo research...i know that if i learn about it, i'll find a way to do it

No that was/is the car I have now.

I am excited to get the 1LE and GM did, in the end, do the right thing, but this SS VERT is my baby.... saying goodbye has not been easy. :(

well now i'm confused (sorry)...so the SS vert is the one with water problems? but it's also your baby? and how did you get 1500 of mods installed and traded away before making a payment (on the 2lt, right?)????

this is the one you're talking about, Lio? i don't know if CA laws have changed, but I imagine the site's developer overlooked updating the listing for 12/13 is the most likely. they have another system listed where it looks like they're talking about 2013 being 50 state legal..
then again, a sure answer would be an email away
