Here's the real reason this is a special occasion. Location. This place is in the middle of nowhere. Hollywood township, MN. The bar has 38 craft beer taps and 1 Coors light. There are often beers from Minneapolis brewers labeled as "Taproom only" in this bar. I love this place and the local brewers love the owner. He's been the first place to have kegs of several of the breweries around. That's really saying something with how far the Minnesota micro brew scene has come.

Great IPA. Try their "Rampant" Imperial (double IPA) if you want the same thing with more ABV.

If you can get your hands on Dale's Pale Ale, Ten Fidy, or Gubna by Oskar Blues Brewery... pretty much anything of theirs is IPA and ABV Heaven!

Oskar Blues "Ten Fiddy" is just a little too much beer for me.

LOVE the Oskar Blues "Old Chubb" though!! One of the best beers in my store. Even the wife craves that one. "Pinner" is a really good session IPA. Never had "Gubna" but will ask the rep if I can get it. That brewery does not disappoint.

Summit and Evil Twin make some amazing brews too.
