Whoever buys mine will know what POS wheels they are. So I'm not gonna have to worry. But you actually paid to have them redone and never used them.

What a royal PITA.

Well, after reading the rules on ebay, I decided to offer the guy $500 to settle and he said he'd take it.

I can't believe how one-sided the ebay rules are in favor of the buyers. The ebay rules say if we couldn't settle, then ebay would make me give him a full refund and he'd have to send back the damaged wheels to me. I do not ever want to see them again.

I am now out $5500 on these cursed wheels.

It is no longer possible to give negative feedback for buyers.

Wow. Did not know that, eBay has really stacked the deck for the buyer.

Exactly, and buyers know it. I wouldn't be surprised at all if this buyer was just seeing what he could extort from DE, knowing that she would be hosed in the end.

My advice would be to give a partial refund through paypal, against the purchase transaction, so that you have a paper trail, which will help insulate you from further crap from this guy.

I had to do it through paypal because that was how he paid me.

The good news is that my shop (IPS Motorsports, who shipped the wheels for the guy) has offered to file an insurance claim to get the money back for me from Fedex. I really hope that works. I forwarded them the ebay receipt and the pictures the guy sent to me of the wheels.

That's what I'm thinking. I"m so glad Savini is screwed on this site. I"m browsing other sites they are on too. I'll start a thread on any site I see them on.
