A standard T-Bolt clamp will not only spread the clamping load over a larger surface (say, 3/4 inch), it will support roughly 3-5 times that torque. I'm not saying your clamps are wrong, but it's a disservice to the otherwise excellent installation.


Edit: I'm also used to working with turbo cars. I forget in this setup boost is post-supercharger, in which case it isn't entirely relevant how sturdy your clamps are.

2.7 pulley slipping on an 8 rib - 694 rwhp and 720 tq sae - 100 Octane

BLAH,,BLAH BLAH BLAH ....I have never built a turbo car,so I would not know what a t bolt clamp or constant torque clamp is
