So yes, as crazy as it sounds, that might lead us to believe you are concerned about the price. Maybe you should re-read your own posts?!?!? FYI...just about any auto parts store will more than likely have an oil filter that will fit on your car, including the PF48. It's up to you what brand you want to use and the price you want to pay.
See post above.

The GM catalog is copyrighted. The aftermarket parts catalog companies have to create their own, so this is the cause for the delay.

I just bought the Mobile 1 M1-113 ( I do believe) it was $14 out the door.
I was going to go with fram till I saw the Mobile 1 at AutoZone.
Fram Part # 100060 with the appropriate prefix in front for the performance type.

Truthfully I would not use your oil or filter for that long either. They are not designed to do that. If you use the best quality lubricant on the market it does not break down anywhere near as quick as cheap products. Then a good quality filter can last a lot longer since it is not having to fight sludge. Do some reasearch into what you put into and on your car. Quality pays, it does not cost.

There were $200 houses in Detroit up for auction on ebay, with nobody buying.

That is one seriously broken down town.

You'd really run a oil filter 25000 miles?

Good choice going with the MobilOne filter, I would NEVER EVER put a Fram
filter on a performance engine. Or a lawn mower engine for that matter.

$60K CAR AND $10K HOUSE...Makes sense if you live by the rule a friend from long ago told me " I can live in my car but I can't drive my house"!!!!!

Are any of these filters available in a higher capacity form? I used a longer Mobil1 and K&N on my LS1. Held about twice as much oil and had more media for filtering.
