If I were to go FI.
Should change the 3.91 gearing that I have on my 1LE ???? My choice of FI is either the SLP TVS2300, LSA Conversion Kit or AGP TT. Sorry to jacking the thread with the question.

There is no perfect answer to that question. Depends on what you really want out of your car. If you are going to run the 1/4 mile...you may get a better result with lower gears. If you want a bad ass street car than can smoke the tires anytime and scare grandma's...then keep the 3.91's.

If it were me, and it has been me, asking that same question, I would wait till you put your kit of choice on to get a better feel for what you want. You may not want to do anything at all or go to 323's all depends on what kind of FI you pick and your preference.

I'd keep it, see what you want and then if you want different gears, go 3.73.

Change tires
Run the NT 05 non R tire and you won`t have more diff problems. Traction will be an issue to a greater degree but banging on a rear diff with an M6 and 05Rs will get to be a hassle until you can get something beefier in the car. Just a thought. Especially if you aren`t running on the 1/4 mile.

I had 3.91s with my A6. When I went with the LSA kit, 3.91s were way too much. Went with 3.45s based on ADMs recommendation. Could have been fine with the original 3.23.
I have the stock diff with the posi mod, DSS CF driveshaft, DSS 1000hp axles and tons of other mods. Near 600 RWHP and so far, has been excellent... I have a set of MT E Streets IIs as well as G2 Goodyear eagles 1LEs seem to be fine with the LSA kit so far. ADM has done a ton of those... -Don

Just to toss my diff in here, It's a DSS bucket, strange center section with a wave-track diff... 3.07 gears, DSS axles and a Thrash/Driveshaft Specialists in (San Antonio) 4 inch one piece driveshaft... It's holding up with 2000 + hp being thrown at it...
George at DSS and Thomas at Hendrix have helped me get this set up together... I got the driveshaft on my own as I needed it in a hurry and I wanted 1350 yokes at both ends...
