I Knew it was coming and I love how they did the announcement. Would be awesome if ECC could drive up there. From Tallahassee it's a 10 hour drive and pretty much a straight shot thorough I10.

As of right now I'm in but being so far away it could change and I might not be able to do it because my college finals most likely will fall that week so I really won't know for sure till January.

Yea...I was pretty sure it would be Texas next year because it came really close to making it this year. They just weren't able to hammer out all the details in time.

I'm probably in for next year. I was hoping to go this year, but didn't even really consider it when it was repeat of Indy. Just thought that was wrong to go to the same place twice in a row.

Unfortunately I think the chance of it ever coming back to Valdosta are very slim to non-existent, but that's where it has its roots, so I'm still hopeful.

Speaking on the refresh which does look better in person (but I still prefer the 10-13) thought I would share this. The z/28 is awesome in person but its basically a street legal race car with a warranty.

Can't see your pics, but I'm pretty sure the Apex girls wouldn't do anything for me.

I'm sure the Z28 is awesome, but I just don't think there is anyway I could ever justify the price. If rumors are correct (and they typically have some basis in fact) they are going to be upwards of $65-$75K. Just can't justify that.....I could have a racecar that will kick a Z's butt for less than that. Granted the Z will have a warranty....but not if you actually race it.

Strange that you can't see the pictures. I see them fine on my computer, iPad, and phone. But I agree with you on that. The Z/28 is a very nice looking camaro but for its price (they have stated it will be higher than the ZL1) you can do a lot more with a SS or 1LE. And according the GM they will warranty it with racing it from what I was told by several people at the fest since that is what it was intended on doing. But I'm not sure how true this is seeing as I didn't get it from GM directly.
