$35k is what I was told by a dealer for a fully optioned SS with everything some time ago...He also said he had driven one and predicted the early release of the info, in addition to which his personal car was a 99 SS, so he was one of the brotherhood..SS is supposed to start around 28, which might mean $28,999.99...Of course, as Fbodfather always says the last thing they will do is to price it....

Interesting...

"Just ahead of the gearbox are four auxiliary meters, but only if you opt for a loaded V-6 or SS (otherwise you get a storage cubby)."

So the pics we've seen so far are most likely the high end V6 with all the options. I'm guessing the RS package will add the gauges, the halos, and maybe the steering wheel controls, and the led interior lighting.

I'd really be interested in seeing what the base model V6 without all the options looks like because that's most likely going to be what I can afford. Guess we'll find out Monday.

MIght not be a bad option at all, if you can get the 20s and the upgraded suspension with the v6 and manual you can probably have a great deal with the lower trim level....THere is also not a lot of doubt in my mind that someone will come out with those in the aftermarket to add on guages, etc, later as you can...Get a good base platform and then go from there....

If that's true then I'm definitely trading the Stang in for an SS. Sorry Ford but this car rocks.

The RS package will probably have some things different based on what Base vehicle it is applied to (wheels)

Hey don't quote me. This was Popular Hotrodding reporting this.
I expect the price difference will be more like ~$2500 when comparing similarly-equipped models. Mustang GT's go well north of $30k with options. A hypothetical $35k Camaro SS would probably have every bell & whistle available.
