They're cool, but the one on my wife's Jetta will come open in your pocket because the button is above the surface of the rest of the key. I'm hoping Team Camaro did it better on ours by giving it a flush button.

I wonder if it's too much to ask for optional push button start? That would be awesome.

Nah, rules and restrictions. I just drive in a way that makes it impossible to drink

I have faith though. but can someone induce a coma until monday? i dont know if i can wait.

I think you should reserve judgement until you see the final version. It wouldn't make much sense for them to make the V8 uglier than the base model! The V8 will be revealed shortly!

i would say the front of the car looks very much like the concept...there are definitely differences in the rear with the concept taillights being bigger and the rear on the concept being much smoother due to the fact that the production needed a bump in the back for crash standards

but to me the front looks damn near identical give a take a few inches

No I won't reserve judgement until the final version, it's awesome so far so it will remain so.

what was your take on the production?

I personally felt it exceeded my expectations...while its not exactly like the concept it isn't too far off either

afterburners aren't exactly like the concepts but its good and a few minor changes you can really make this car shine...

i hope the v8 impresses and that i can have a choice between the front bumpers

like the rs package gives you the v6 bumper but with the ss engine

Yeah, but if you were in a position to know how good the car was going to be why waste time arguing with people just speculating baed on some sketchy photos?

It all must have been a sneaky 007 spy plan to throw off the enemy.

they were a little rough on us considering how bad some of the pre-production photos were and we had no information on what the real thing would look like

of course we were fearful of the final product...

but i think that was their design put out a few dirty iver pics and then wow us with the real thing

189 inches in length. so it ended up longer than the mustang.
Good Heavens. I just read the Car and Driver article. 3750 pounds for the V6 ,and 3900 for the V8? My worst fears realized. That should produce great fuel economy. My moms 10 year old Olds doesn't weigh that much. 1981 weight!!
