I've helped install an Airaid on a 5th gen. That was a pain but we probably made it harder than it really was.

How was the install?

I'm thinking about installing one on my Maxima, but I'd rather do it myself to save money.

long tube or short tube?

every intake is very simple to do. with a socket set and/or screw driver. took me an hour for the long tube, because I had to change out the washer bottle with the one they provided. some kits don't need a new bottle, but for the v6 Camaro, it needed to be moved or replaced.

This is it: http://www.carid.com/2000-nissan-max...ke-360110.html

So you think it's be fairly easy to do? One person told me the only thing to watch out for is the MAF sensor since it has to be removed in order to be installed.

Thanks. That makes me feel better that multiple people are telling me it's easy.

I've heard from people, to be careful with carid. I've never had any experience with them, just what I heard.

other than that, it looks to be a short tube, and should take you less than an hour.

Oh I'm gonna purchase it from Injen themselves. That was just the first page that popped up with the CAI.
