I wasn't doing the swinging. I think it's more a welding **** up/lack of tools. If you saw my car in person you'd probably notice it after staring for 20 seconds from the rear: He added about 2-3 inches of sheet metal on the B pillar arch and when he welded the quarter subassembly.
Needs another pull that the puller wasn't capable of but other than that, it's good for now as a DD/fun car. Oh, and for those wanting to see the mock up shots, I'll post 'em. They aren't bad, but its nothing close to how it's going to look (I hammered one of the tips onto the pipe without adjusting anything else.) |

I know my driveline shop is gonna "WTF" when I call 'em later today. This will be their 3rd attempt at sealing it up. |

Those tips look pretty cool. Being black they won't show dirt and soot very well which is nice. My tips get dirty after a day of driving.

Pinion seal, easy fix. I had to do it on my sisters car.

Filed the taxes today: 880 due back. Stash 250 for hotel stay with my A&P testing leaves me 630 to play with for Headers/Y-Pipe.
TSP 1 7/8s LT and ORY? Might as well finish out my TSP system. Prolly ask for a Tune, Gaskets, Bosch O2s, and possibly plugs for the ol' 25th birthday. |

And Headers are off the table. Instead I got my Serp belt/AC belt replaced, Right signal/running lamp socket replaced because it literally burned up/melted, and had my oil changed while it was up on the lift.
Damage: $300 bucks because the socket was more of a PITA than anyone thought. Now that the car actually runs great again, plans have changed. Need to stash 250 for my A&P, leaving me probably another 250 for.. nothing. |

Hey Zabo how do you like your short stick? I'm thinking about buying that one but can't decide if I want to or not. It's cheap but I'm just not sure lol.

Nothing but praise here for the shifter. If you do go with it though, the boot will have a good bit of slack. Easy way is to get a black zip tie and with the boot turned inside out cinch it up to the shifter. |

i have the 6" one and it works great but i have the stock Hurst shifter. if you have the base non hurst one then get the 6.5".

I have stock hurst. I'm thinking 6.5 because I don't want to go to short.

the 6 is perfect, tho i dont think there will be too much of a real difference over a 1/2 inch. either one is way better then the stock one.
