With microphone clipped to left side of roof reading lamp plastic trim, and a driver and passenger present in the car, auto correction created the following time correction.
1.25ms - front right high 2.65ms - front left high 0.00ms - front right low 0.00ms - front left low 0.65ms - rear left 0.30ms - rear right 0.00ms - sub woofer |

No, I just ran auto correction and accepted the result.
I guess you you are wanting the "sound stage" focused on the driver, and you want to manually set the correction rather than using auto correction and a microphone. I can't really help with this, as it would mean moving the microphone which is constrained by my install PXA-H800 in the trunk with the microphone cable threaded through the C & B pillar and then over the roof lining to the reading lamp plastic trim. I realise that the supposed correct method is do this without anybody in the car and with the microphone pointed in the direction of the "sound stage", but I defied that by thinking that a driver and passenger should be present. Having a component speaker and tweeter mounted in the rear is also "old school" unorthodox, and may influence the correction results. |
