I just don't want to run into fueling/clutch other issues thy I can't afford to build

I don't know how you guys are still doing "fine" with the stock clutch over 600rwhp. You must be taking it easy.

That doesn't look good. My stock clutch held for about 3,000 miles, then one day on the interstate I down shifted to 4th and smoked it. It couldn't hold the power at low rpms for long. Some may hold for a while but it is only a matter of time.

B8 LSX Hmmmmmm

Iron crank and powdered metal rods. I`d worry. GM claims it`s built to handle 8 PSI. I don`t want to talk you out of anything but that isn`t my version of reassuring. Most well known shops will build a base LS3 with H beams and forged crank, a little more compression and do it for $500 plus less money. I would think long and hard before going that route. A large part of that engines value and expense is in the LSX block, which from what you say will be a daily driver. You do not need. Most of us will never need the benefits that block has to offer. My 2 cents of typing for the day.

Warranty. Warranty warranty. Is why I'm going that route. I have no
Need for more than 8psi. If I ever want more power I'll add meth or something of the sort. Port the heads. Ect

8psi means NOTHING.

8psi could be 1000rwhp or 500rwhp. Don't get caught up on boost.

It's not warranties at 8psi. It says 8psi is the recommended Max

Point is, 8psi doesn't mean anything. I wouldn't touch a B8, because the rods. You can get a better motor for the same price with better parts.

Chevy B8

"UNREAL", well worded statement and you seem to get the point. Yes the non forged internals, less the pistons, will take less power to turn due to the lower weight of the rotating assembly. However, powdered metal rods with forged pistons on the end of them usually aren't a good mix from what I`ve seen. The pistons are heavier and there is a reason every serious shop I know of puts H-beams under those pistons. Will the motor run well and live with the typical 8 psi combination making ~600 WHP, yes, but so will a stock LS3 that's tuned properly. So if that's all you want to ever do, save yourself some money and get one of those from chevy. It has a warranty to but that's not the point. Just sharing a thought, and I know how it feels to throw money at something and not get what I intended at the end of the day.

Doing the b15 would cost me another 4000+

Make up the difference of the two and a new clutch. And at which point I'll be closing in on the safe zone that u feel like pushing the fuel system. So there's another 2k
