Scientifically speaking, you are putting too much emphasis on a number, and not enough emphasis on the tq/hp curve.

Based on curve, and how it is used, and the total distance travelled, is the precise reason why a The Number "460" loses out to a purported "440" in some instances (but not all).

Used to have a bud, with an all out modded Stage 4 diesel Golf, that would destroy the vast majority of us on here in the 1/8th. Yes, traction was a problem.

Point is, his torque monster ride, destroyed much higher quote on quote "hp numbered" cars, even in same weight category.

It's just a number dude. Swell for some sort of reference point, but def not written in stone.

Lunati bootlegger stage one , 224/240 .595" on both valves 111lsa

There new bootlegger cam's are there most advanced modern cam lobes that were just released in early 2016

I have emailed lunati to ask them few questions about these new cam's and I will keep you guys up to date with what they have to say about them, Im very interested to say the least

I just got off the phone with lunati cams (very helpful tech support). I asked him if the new bootlegger cam lobes would make more power than the voodoo cam lobes if both cam's had the exact same specs. To my surprise he said the voodoo cam's and there lobes are the ones to use for getting the most power out of the cam swap. He said the bootlegger line up is more for sound than making power, I'm glad I called and spoke with them

Voodoo =

ARrado15 I think you will b e pleasantly surprised at the ASA racing cam with its wide duration and tight LSA as many have bought the ls3 engine to sub in other cars to retro fit them, and I know my tuner has done a bunch of installs of crates and just the cam in cars with good results.

https://www.facebook.com/Wongs-Perfo...-115667950915/

He shows one he did that went to SEMA and back in oct of 14 hear a idle clip of the ASA cam in vette, my car is like oct of 15 and way back march of 14 for clip of my first engines on the dyno with its 235/239 TSP cam making 491 hp and 448 tq just a awesome cam. May just have to do that cam again down the road now I am on a milder one looking to the future for a good intake and 102, maybe MAST small bore ls7 heads if I get richer...and a Airforce intake would top it off with a 200 shot for OMG power someday.... and well the 100 hp axles to handle it along with a few more BMR upgrades and maybe a Eaton true trac and..ETC lol hot rodding...Had the bug for like oh 4 decades....
'
Love all the neat cars he gets to work on when he has time to take a pic or too..... Springs being a wear component that I have to change out in 25k I would be all for changing those springs out to more durable as recommended too BTW.
