Go listen to the blaupunkd (sp??) radio in a pontiac G8. That will give you a whole new meaning to "sucks"

Ohhh... I've 'broken' mine in. I've blown my rears for sure. Seems like they can't handle the stock volume over 35. Very distorted now, lots of vibration.

The BA system does this and the will volume will automatically rise with engine and road noise.

I wear hearing aids..

and I think the FACTORY..(notice FACTORY) BA system sound spretty damn nice... esp for price..

Sure 5g will do better..but try ..just try updating the radio..good luck.lol..

Dont believe the BS about paper speakers...

Many dont even adjust the settings in the radions..before posting a misinformed post....

There are way WORSE stereos that cost more money.

If you wanted a GREAT STOCK Sound system you should have bought an Audi A8. The Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound system is the best out there bar non. Good Luck affording the car.

The stereo is the only real let down IMHO. Played with the EQ, etc and it still doesn't sound as good the one in my 05 Silverado 2500 4 door. I didn't expect to be great, but a car should come with one that sounds better than the one that comes in a diesel camper puller. It just needs clearer bass tones. If you pump them up much, it just sounds muddy.

My ears would blow at 35 let alone the speakers. I can't handle over 25ish on my radio....

Considering its an upgrade system I wasnt really impressed. With whats out today in other cars the BA system is really the quality of a standard system. Ill replace all the speakers.

Just listened to my new install lastnight.
Kept all the BA stock speakers and stock head unit and amp.
this goes througt a bit 1 processor. and then a Audion LRX5.1 mt amp
adding the Fiberglass Perfect fit 10" Enclosure with a Audion Thesis 10" Sub.

The sound quality of this set up is 2nd to none It is compitetion ready.
We were just cooking in the sub last night.
Now we are talking sound quality here not DB-Drags: but the system dose have thump now.
Thanks to the Guy's @ Sound Auto in Hamilton NJ

I've heard a lot of factory stereo units, this is not a good one.
