Morimoto is a full reflector bowl, lense assembly. That would replace the cheap GM assembly inside the headlight. That way, we get maximum reflectivity vs the faded, burnt out bowls they have now.

Absolutely. No issue making sure! I don't see it being a problem fitting but the lense hole (in the front of the housing) would need to be opened to 3"

I used to have a 2004 LS430 many years ago and I believe that car had the best HID headlights by far of any car out there. I'm curious how the morimoto compares to those. I was left underwhelmed with the C6 Corvette and Gen 5 Camaro.

I have these two headlights that I'll be installing on my 12' 2SS RS soon from a 2010 Camaro with RS headlights below. This might be the time to upgrade them.

I have a few questions first.

How easy would it be to install this retrofit to the headlights? Any special tools or procedures?
Is there a walk through video to make sure I do it properly?
Will my halo lights still be functional?

We are in a buy-in to get the projectors specifically cut with a custom bracket for our headlights. As for now, There is 0 information that you are requesting. Please read post 1 and 2

Installing replacement projectors does not involve and has no affect on halos as they are on the other half of the headlight from the projector. See about 5:40 in this vid https://m.youtube.com/results?sp=mAE...vrolet+Camaro+

No special tools needed, just screw driver, ratchet wrench and clamps to reseal the headlights. There was no DIY I could find but basically once you open the headlight you just remove the stock projector and insert the replacement. With the custom eom bracket Morimito is offering it’s kind of plugNplay

If only it were actually morimoto. they refused. A company who makes 95% of the custom brackets is taking this on and their work is amazing.
