They did specifically say, the end of the 6th gen, so they definitely left the door open.

Kind of just proves the point though that given enough attention you can sell the hell out of something. We all know the LA/LD platforms are lackluster, but even that being the case they sold VERY well.

Either way it still sucks that all of them; Camaro, Challenger, and Charger are all leaving, to be replaced with EVs, of who knows what form.

Kind of my point though, Dodge sacrificed their other vehicles to keep the muscle alive, where Chevy willfully gave up the Camaro a while ago in favor of their other vehicles.

No way! I’ll have to look around when it comes time then. Expand my options.

I’ve never bought a brand new car my entire life but I am strongly considering a 2024 SS 1le if I can get it at msrp. I’m not one of those people that wants it because it’s the final year of the ice camaro, I want it because I think it’s the last new car I will actually want. I was originally planning on buying a used zl1 but prices for those have barely dropped from their all time high and it might even be back to their all time highs. The idea of being the only owner of a car that I plan on keeping 20+ years is enticing to me.

Things keeping me from ordering one are it has to be msrp, I heard shadow gray metallic is getting dropped, and I have a hard time justifying trading my non 1le SS + 25kish just to slightly upgrade to a 1le.

I also would love a brand new warranty so I can track that living crap out of a new 1le and not worry about it.

Now, do I believe we'll get another 7th gen Camaro with an ICE engine? No I don't.

Do I think we could get an electric Camaro at some point? Sure, I think that's possible, but I'm also not really interested in it either.
I agree with all of these statements.

From the press release:

Scott Bell, vice president, Global Chevrolet. “While we are not announcing an immediate successor today, rest assured, this is not the end of Camaro’s story.”

He said he does not know things like if they are doing limited runs, if they are allowing dealers to order as many as they get orders for... etc.

He's got my name and contact info and will be reaching out once he gets details. I'll consider it, but I'll have a hard time going to the 2020 and up front ends. If they have the same blue on the C8's that would be close enough for me to my HyperBlue. I'll just have to see cost details. It would be really hard to give up a paid for SS (and I JUST got my new 1LE Replica wheels) for another SS that has possibly no performace enhancements to it. I'd have to serioulsy consider that. I don't think I'd go to a ZL1 because I just don't need that much power for my spirited driving.
I wonder if it’s Elkhart Lake Blue Metallic? They seem to share colors with Corvette. Totally down for a successor to Hyper Blue.

Ya... I should have wrote down the name of the color he told me it was. Elkhart Lake doesn't ring a bell.

Not likely. There are no signs yet that Riverside Blue Metallic is going away. The only colors we know for sure are going away are Rapid Blue and Shadow Gray Metallic.

If they're doing a new blue, it will likely be the new Riptide Blue Metallic. That color is already confirmed for 2024 Corvette and Equinox.

Probably riptide blue. Riptide will be replacing ELB for the 2024 'Vette.

Have they announced an end to the ICE Cadillacs built on the same Camaro ICE assembly line?

Sticker package or not, Camaros have been basically the same for a lot of years already, not much difference one year to the next, so the final ICE year doesn't seem like that big of a deal, other than you'd better quit waiting if you want a new one.

The EV next gen Camaro?...Meh, who cares. How's the hype for the new EV Dodge going?. This whole EV transition is coming unraveled and more problematic. No thanks.

Not much new here except confirmation that MY 2024 is the last Gen 6 Camaro. I guess we will see what is going to make the 2024 model special other than it being the last year and some commemorative
decals. It will also be interesting to see what new colors will be available and those that may no be longer be available. If there is a new blue and both Riverside and Rapid Blue go away that means Rapid Blue will only have been produced for two years.

Not sure if you seen my post above, but I did get that info from my local Chevy dealer that Riverside Blue Metallic is gone for 2024 and so is Rabid Blue. They are doing a new blue for 2024 and he said same as the C8. Again, just what I was told from the local Chevy dealer.
