I'm at -2.5 front/-1.5 rear so hopefully that's enough, I will just leave them alone for Tuesday and see how they look when I get back home. Thanks for the input!

APEX has group buys on the BMW forums. As we know they are BMW wheels.
Not enough people were interested to get a good discount so I didn't bother with that group buy.

Keep checking them out, the group buys pop up often.

I'm wanted the 19" setup so I can try the G3R tire at least once. Then work toward getting into the new NASA 200 UTOG TT

We ran RE71R 305/30/19 last weekend on ZL1 1LE rims. Never had run them. Was as quick as the 305/325 G3R combo for a couple of laps and came up to temp way quicker. However, they overheated early in the session when pushed quickly and had to be ran gently for a few laps. The G3Rs are good through the entire 30min session.

The “Hoosierstones” are a 200TW cheater tire. Just don’t heat cycle them out by driving on them to / from track per the guys that run them. For TT, they’d probably work well by coming up to temp quickly and getting your hero lap done early.

Assuming that Apex actually does come out with the Camaro fitment (hub centric and correct offsets), those should be a nice choice for 19s. Supposedly coming out in May this year?

Where did you find the info about the Camaro specific Apex wheels? I looked on the Apex site and did not find anything about them.

Is a 20mm spacer upfront excessive? To make the 305 square setup work

A few of us are running the 19x10.5"s w/ 305s square with a 5mm spacer up front. But the caveat to that is if you are going to run more than about -2 degrees camber up front you will also need to grind the strut a bit (sounds scary, but no big deal). OR get a 10 or 12mm spacer and you should be GTG, the 20mm is definitely overkill. Also anything over 5mm space you will need extended studs.

I am referring to the new apex with et35. You are currently using et 22 correct? To use the new apex Camaro specific wheels in a 305 squared setup seems like they would have made a better offset so a giant spacer was not required. My concern is with a 15mm or 20mm as they suggest and extended lugs is this safe?

Many people have been running spacers on track for a while. I've run spacers on my E46, E90, Z06 and now my camaro all with no issue. As long as you have the right stud length and thread engagement you will be fine. The issues come with those wheel adapters with built in studs, or guys who think they can get away with tossing s 5-7mm spacer on stock studs with not enough thread engagement.

I'm fairly close with Ryan the sales manager of Apex, and the way he explained not having "better" square offsets is that the ET22 for the rear is just too low and pokes a good amount, and in their survey people were not voting for that.

If you wanted to run an et22 square setup just get the wheels with BMW hub bores and run a ring adapter, no big deal. I've done it on my 19" and now 18" setup and have been on sebring 10+ times, barber for 3-4 days and have not had an issue with them, or the spacers (albeit i only run a 5mm spacer).

Any questions specifically, let me know!

^^^What he said^^^

I didn't realize that the offset was 35 on the "Camaro" 19x10.5s. I have to agree 100% that you would be better off with the "BMW" ones that are 22 offset. The rear poke is negligible, and personally I think it gives the car an even better looking stance with the slight poke in the rear.

Tough I agree with Alex about running spacer not being as "scary/sketchy" as a lot of people make it out to be, I'd rather run the hub rings on the BMW spec wheels and a 5mm spacer than no hub ring and a 20mm space on the Camaro spec wheels.

I really don't understand why people would have voted for 35 offset on the square setup.

Also as Provoste said somewhere in here the "poke" in the rear widens the track widths and makes it more stable and the rear feels absolutely planted!
