Love my vert. Now that I passed break-in, I'm really enjoying one incredible machine. No issues so far.

You are right about owner forums being frequently dominated by negative posts. The same is true for every owners forum I've ever been a part of, and it makes perfect sense. If we used the owners forums to base our purchase decisions on we'd never buy anything for fear that whatever brand/model it is its just junk!

I've got close to 3,000 miles on my loaded 2SS and so far no issues whatsoever!

Only issue I've had is the little paint chip in the trunk area.

No problems here. I would still love it even if I had been hit with some issues. If I'm in a bad mood all I need do is open the garage door to look at the car. It's the best car I have ever owned.

Love mine...3500 miles so far and no issues! Have had a 2nd gen, 2 3rd gens, 4 4th gens, a 5th gen and now my 6th gen. This one is by far my favorite of all of them.

I just took my first road trip - 150 miles. And i cannot believe how DAMN SMOOTH this car rides! I couldnt even imagine if i had MRC - it dont seem like this car could get any smoother! The factory nav is great, seats are awesome, hardly any road noise....pure mechanical orgasm!!

My only complaint is the goofy ass trunk opening and the lack of a plastic handhold to close it by. As far as I know, you can only close it by grabbing the exterior of the car which almost always leaves fingerprints.

Actually also the seatbelt gets caught between the door and seat for me pretty often which makes me nervous about wearing the armrest.

But, putting my foot on the clutch and hearing the exhaust roar to life, hearing the active rev match, and taking turns far faster than any other car I've owned makes it all EASILY worthwhile!

My only regret is that I didn't get a 2SS instead of the 1SS. But realistically, I couldn't be happier.

I hear you about closing the trunk. One trick I used on my 5th gen was to close the trunk by using the bow tie. Helps keep the fingerprints off the paint.

Love mine ~800 miles in (~450 of which were the drive home from the dealership). Lost count of the times I've just started laughing at how the car sticks in the corners, totally different than my Challenger R/T. Only issue I've noticed is a rattle that sounds like the sunroof when the driver window is open at speed - not sure if that's an issue or just a function of normal buffeting at speed. Solution: keep the window closed :p

Hi stars_fan,

I see that you might be interested in scheduling an appointment at your dealership for your 2SS at a later date. If you decide to do so, I would be happy to offer further assistance throughout the process. Please don’t hesitate to send us a private message with more details when the time comes.

Best,

I want to love mine as it's such a great looking car, but it's now been sitting back at the dealer waiting for repair for the same amount of time as I was able to drive it - 5 days for both now :(
