Very true, and I'm sure I'll love the car regardless (as it's still making 150hp rwhp over stock) and I remind myself of that. The tough part is that it's still underperforming with the selected boost and a custom tune, and I'm making less than they were when theirs wasn't a custom tune. They did realize that and said that it was low to me on the phone when I gave them a call. However, I guess it's still doable so to speak and they made sure it was all installed correctly and tuning was done correctly when the shop and Turbonetics spoke on the phone. I just may have a car that doesn't produce those types of numbers that have been seen before. So, I guess it is what it is and just have to look at modding the car further down the road to get more power from it.

PCH should be a blast this time of year, and I plan to head down there soon. Thanks

My car has 8 pounds of boost, but made between 503-511. I only run 91 though. California is amazing like that , impossible to find over 91 octane and smog laws suck.
I had the car dyno'd on a DynaPack too and it made 463hp and 468tq all motor through a 6L80(auto) tranny.

Get a copy of your graph and post it up and maybe we can see something off.

Thanks SRT. When I get the car back, I'll post up some numbers/graphs of the dyno.

I had a lot of other parts going on the car, and little hick-ups here and there with parts being broken from shipping, or parts not manufactured well, etc. has held up the build a little bit. They kicked some ass and got it done though. I pick the car up this morning ! This is what I had done (I hope I remembered it all on the list):

Turbonetics turbo w/dyno tune
Autometer Dual Pod Pillar
AEM digital gauges: AEM Tru-Boost controller, AEM fuel pressure gauges (both with white face plate/black bezel to match the car)
ADM twin fuel pumps
RX catch can/breather
Heritage Grill painted SW
Stillen body kit
White CF Vinyl door panels and dash trim
Black carbon fiber vinyl in custom cutout on side mirrors and side mirror bezel
Painted engine/fuse box cover (I did that myself)
Painted interior trim pieces: gauge bezel, shifter bezel, steering wheel trim
White CF vinyl bowties (I did that myself)
SRP racing pedals
Knight Rider scanner (option of red & blue light)
AAC SW sidemarkers w/clear lenses
Painted tiallight bezels SW

Ha-ha, thanks . I'm trying the best I can to make the car what I've always envisioned. When I saw the sketch of the camaro when GM released info, I was SOLD, lol. I'm really happy with the way my car turned out from the pictures the shop sent me. They did a great job getting everything put together and painted.

I'll be posting up pictures this afternoon in my build thread. Hopefully they look good!

Hunting #'s leads to 2 things:

1. Disappointment
2. Broken parts

What you need to be looking for is enough power to keep you happy while keeping the car reliable. i made 346awhp on a dynojet and would probably make just over 300 on the local dyno dynamics. #'s are just #'s, they don't indicate how enjoyable the car is going to be.

I know this is an old thread but I made 556 at the wheels on the stock boost setting 6.2 lbs or whatever it is, just recently finished so my boost controller isnt in, but I'll be going to 8 lbs once I get my torque converter in, hoping for 600 rwhp, then again my car is catless and straight pipped

You have a video of it? Have the same kit and running no cats. Be thinking about pulling the mufflers but was not sure how it would sound.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. If it is spelllled wrong, deal with it.
